Saturday’s are for brunch at the extravagant Versace Mansion
This was the former home for Gianni Versace which was bought by VM South Beach LLC and now it has turned into a boutique hotel and restaurant. It is in South Beach,1116 Ocean Dr, Miami Beach, FL 33139.
The restaurant is reservation only and you must book in advance since the restaurant is always booked and it’s difficult to find last minute reservation. I booked around 2 weeks in advance and scheduled my reservation for lunch I wanted to come here to celebrate my graduation weekend and it did not disappoint.
The lunch menu has a fixed price of $29 for a three course meal and of course you can ask for add-ons for an extra fee which you will see listed in parenthesis on their menu.
This makes an extravagant and delicious lunch totally affordable and worthwhile. See the menu here.
As mentioned above lunch is a three course meal so here’s what I ordered:
As an appetizer I ordered the Octopus Carpaccio which consisted of thinly sliced octopus, cherry tomatoes, potatoes & lemon vinaigrette.
For the entree, I ordered the Grilled Branzino and it tasted super fresh and healthy.
My Boyfriend ordered the Faroe Wild Island Salmon with baby vegetables.
It’s super refreshing dining by the pool. They also have mini fans that spray mist to keep the ambiance fresh.
Last but not least for dessert I ordered the Chocolate Mousse Brownie since I have a sweet tooth, and my boyfriend ordered the fresh fruit!
The experience overall was amazing and I look forward to going back and enjoying their pasta and other dishes from their menu.
The mansion is also a boutique hotel where price ranges from $759 – $1880 a night depending on the day and the type of suite you select. Giannis own bedroom is available and it’s called Giannis Master Suite.
This suite is big enough for 4 guests and you are transported to the quarters of the man who made the mansion famous. With its decadent custom double king-sized bed and mural-covered walls, The Villa Suite features two balconies – one overlooking Ocean Drive – a bedroom sitting alcove, his and hers closets and a custom oversized double-head shower and bidet.
Only hotel guests have access to the pool.
Totally recommend you pay a visit when in Miami!
